Needless to say we were so stoked to go back to the Midwest during fall - A little scared I'll admit because its so hit or miss out there with the weather, but.... it was PERFECT! The temperature was perfect, the leaves were perfect.. it was as if the leaves waited for us to arrive to turn and drop. The setting for their wedding was perfect as well. They had the ceremony and reception at the Abby Resort in Fontana, Wi - which is right on the west side of Lake Geneva. Its an incredible location with Gordy's Marina, a sandy beach and beautiful white docks all right there. A big thanks to Corey for being so adventurous with us when we did her photos before her wedding. We were thrown a little curve ball when a Gordy's employee came to us and asked the bridal party if they wanted to go on a quick cruise on a new Cobalt... well of course! We had a blast from beginning to end - and getting to see the Midwest Fall was an extra little treat.

We met Devon at the Spanish Hills Country Club bridal show and really connected with her. We were stoked to find out that Devon won our free engagement session from the show and were eager to get that scheduled. We shot their photos at the Old Creek Ranch Winery located off HWY 33 in Ojai, Ca. A great setting for some great photos! Its also where Devon works - extra win! So we had more freedom then we might have been allowed. :)
